Merchant App Terms
These terms cover the shyp merchant app, platform connections, your balance and withdrawals. They are part of the shyp terms.
1. Your account
We give you access to the shyp merchant app when you sign your service agreement. You may add people from your team as users. You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping logins secure, and for telling us at once if you think someone else has access.
2. Platform connections
When you connect a sales platform, you authorise shyp to read your orders from it and to send tracking and order status back to it. You can disconnect a platform at any time. The platform’s own terms apply to your use of it.
3. Your balance and withdrawals
Cash we collect on delivery is added to your balance, less our fees. You can withdraw your balance whenever you want to a bank account or e-wallet in your business’s name. There is no minimum and no fee, and a withdrawal arrives the same working day.
We may hold a withdrawal while we check a suspected error or fraud, and we tell you when we do. If we credit your balance by mistake, we may correct it.
4. Your data
Your products, stock, orders and sales belong to you. Other merchants never see them. We use them to provide the shyp services, as the shyp Privacy notice and your data processing agreement describe. Ask us at any time for a copy of your data.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: do not try to access other merchants’ data, interfere with the app, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that breaks these terms, and we tell you why.
6. Availability
We work to keep the app available, but it may be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance. We tell you in advance of planned maintenance where we can. We do not commit to a level of availability.
7. How these terms fit together
These terms form part of your service agreement with shyp, together with the other shyp service terms that apply to the services you use and the rate card. If they conflict, your signed service agreement wins, then these terms, then the rate card.
8. Changes
We publish any change to these terms on this page and tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you may end your service agreement before it takes effect without paying for the rest of the minimum term.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The courts of Makati City hear any dispute about them.
